Item Special Note
Growing up in rural Georgia, Dana Kemp always felt out of place, out of step with the culture and norms. As she lived the 1970s and 80s in New Orleans, the culture (music, food, languages, attitude) shaped her life and informed her art. Every trip back, Dana continues to shoot the people as they "laissez les bons temps rouler."
