Item Description

This is an original piece from the limited edition series, Photography for Philanthropy, a Culinary Art Auction to Benefit City Harvest. The culinary masterpiece was created by renowned pastry chef, Daniel Boulud and captured through the lens of famed photographer, Diana DeLucia. In addition to this artwork being brilliant in color, it is personally signed by the chef/artist, Daniel Boulud. 

Frames are a high quality painted black frame made in Italy (2.5 high by 1.5 inches on the top). The image was framed by preservation experts who have handled this piece with exceptional care. This photograph is framed with quality glass and acid free matting that will help protect it from long term degradation.  The mat is a soft white top and a black bottom mat that enhances the brilliant photo and creates a very clean and modern piece of art.

The outside dimension is 27” x 33” and the image size is 17” x 27”.

About Chef Boulud:
Daniel Boulud is the Chef-Owner of the five award winning restaurants and the Feast & Fêtes catering company that make up The DInex Group. He is also the author of six cookbooks and the creator of a line of “Connoisseur” gourmet products. While he hails from Lyon, it is in New York that he has truly mastered the culinary scene. Boulud’s style is marked for his unique use time honored French technique and the finest seasonal American ingredients. Over the last two decades, in addition to the artistry he performs to his  New York City restaurants DANIEL, CAFE BOULUD and DB Bistro Moderne, the chef has also opened Café Boulud in Palm Beach and Daniel Boulud Brasserie at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort. His restaurant, DANIEL, has been named “one of the ten best restaurants in the world” by the International Herald Tribune, received Gourmet Magazine’s “Top Table” award, a coveted four star rating form The New York Times as well as Wine Spectator’s “Grand Award” and New York City’s top ratings for cuisine, service and decor in the Zagat Survey.  In 2006 Boulud was made a Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur by the French government. Daniel Boulud’s most recent endeavors include the “After Hours with Daniel” series on MOJO TV and “Braise. A Journey through International Cuisine”, recently nominated for a James Beard Foundation cookbook award.
