The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

Considered one of Canada's great railway hotels. Opened in 1939, the hotel has been host to Queen Elizabeth and her father King George VI. Restored in the 1990's, the hotel features a decor and an ambiance that is both elegant, yet relaxed. Located in the heart of the city, Vancouver's eclectic shopping area, Robson Street, is just a block away. The hotel's luxuriously appointed rooms are spacious and decorated in reproduction antique furniture, crown moldings and the soft luster of gold and cream. Closets are oversized and bathrooms feature a deep tub. The on-site recreation center has a glass-enclosed lap pool, kiddie pool, saunas, whirlpool and sun terraces, and guests may also use a complimentary membership to a nearby athletic club for squash courts and aerobics. Airfare:

This package includes coach class airfare for (2) from any of the (48) states to Vancouver. Travelers from the West Coast will have the option to fly on direct carriers subject to availability and fare basis. All travelers will have the option to fly on American Airlines as described below. No upgrades are available for West Coast travelers desiring to fly alternate carriers.

American Airlines

This package includes round-trip coach class service for (2) from any American Airlines destination in the 48 contiguous United States to anywhere American Airlines flies in the 48 contiguous United States or Canada subject to availability. Upgrade pricing is available. The winning bidders can upgrade their coach class airfare to first class airfare by calling 800-209-6888. A minimum of 21 days advance booking is required as is a Saturday night stay. The winning bidders will be able to earn AAdvantage miles in accordance with the terms and conditions of the AAdvantage frequent flyer program. Miles cannot be utilized to upgrade these coach class certificates to a higher level of service. The certificates will have a one-year expiration date from the date issued and all reservations are subject to availability.

Any airport departure or taxes (if charged) are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Ground transportation is not included in this package.
