Two Lunch Tickets for the Napa Valley Wine Train. Includes train fare and gourmet lunch. When passengers board the Napa Valley Wine Train for the serene journey through Napa Valley's picturesque landscape, they step back into an era when rail travel was epitome of elegance. Passengers are mentally transported by the surroundings of the Honduran mahogany paneling, brass accents, etched glass partitions, brocade & velveteen fabrics reflective of the finest in early 20th century Venice-Simplon Orient Express and the Andalusian Express European Railroads. The Wine Train's elegance was born from local craftsmen, whose skills gave new life to rail cars and locomotives would have been abandoned in junk yards. All of these "turn-of-the-century" Dining, Parlor, Chef du Cuisine Kitchen car were purchased from throughout United States and Canada. Each Pullman Lounge Car has velveteen covered cushioned armchairs that swivel 360-degrees and six four-person booths for passengers to enjoy cocktails and the views. The Gourmet Express Dining Cars have tables for two or four people and are lavishly dressed in velvet and brocade fabrics, brass lighting fixtures, damask linens, silver flatware and can accommodate 60 - 70 people in each. Another 1915 Pullman Car, originally built for the Southern Pacific, serves as the Napa Valley Wine Train 'Chef de Cuisine' kitchen car, featuring a stainless steel 'state'-of-the-art' galley. Executive Chef Kelly Macdonald and his culinary crew freshly prepare all meals onboard as they are ordered. Guests truly enjoy viewing the Chefs in action from the mahogany-paneled passageway & observation windows. Whether it's dining on gourmet cuisine, enjoying a brandy in the Parlor Cars or sipping a fine varietal in the Wine Tasting Car, passengers aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train are assured a luxurious journey in a relaxing and scenic atmosphere!
