Item Description
Kay has been making jewelry for 20 years. Initially pursuing rigorous training in painting and drawing, at age 18 she found metal-smithing to be intensely satisfying. Her earliest work involved the use of found objects and alternative materials. She has worked with Mary Beall Jeweler in Denver and Zadora Ltd., a New York based designer of Faberge-style objects. Kay has her own business — Designs in Metal — where is able to execute phenomenal designs. She accepts commissions for jewelry, and she also makes objects of art and function. These guitar-string bracelets are sure to enhance your personal collection and will inspire you to begin a collection of Kay’s Designs in Metal.
