Item Description
Handcrafted by Norbert Frueh, Leigh Miller’s GERMAN Father-in-Law, who has been upholding the fabled German beer-making tradition for the last 15 years. This selection of six different beers offers a wonderful variety of an excellent vintage. Beer Styles:
- HEFEWEIZEN – A light beer made with barley and wheat malt. Lightly hopped; cloudy due to yeast (Hefe) at the bottom of the bottle. Serve with a slice of lemon.
- INDIA PALE ALE – A high alcohol, heavily hopped beer originally made for the British troops in India. Not for wimps.
- VIENNA STYLE LAGER – An amber lager beer resembling the famous Mexican “Dos Equis.” Medium strength. Tastes good with chips and salsa.
- IRISH ALE – A lightly hopped, easy drinking ale. A favorite with the lady beer drinkers.
- BOCK – A dark and heavy German lager beer. High alcohol but lightly hopped. Drink it at home – and stay home. (Contains lactose)
- GERMAN PILSNER – A light colored, well hopped brew that is typical for German styles (e.g. Bitburger). Enjoy it with your Sauerbraten.
