Here is a set of two art books featuring the work of R. Kenton Nelson entitled Rhyme and Reason, and Prose and Cons. They are signed by the artist.
Kenton Nelson's work has appeared on several covers of the New Yorker and beautifully depicts Americana life reminiscent of the of the 1930s work of American scene painters, American Regionalists, and Mexican Muralists. He was born in 1954, attended Long Beach State and Otis Parsons Art Institute and has been painting in his Pasadena studio for the past 27 years.
