Item Description
18" shell and sterling necklace and earrings. Both are made of Mother of Pearl, sterling silver and hematite using a sterling silver toggle for the necklace and sterling wires for the earrings.

Artist Statement
I enjoy sailing on the Chesapeake Bay and many of my designs reflect a nautical influence. Bold, island colors in my pieces are also inspired by yearly trips to the Florida Keys. I frequent Manhattan to stay current on the latest trends for my clients, and to purchase stones. My jewelry designs primarily feature sterling and fine silver, gemstones, freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals. The wire-wrapping line of home accents includes serving pieces, ice buckets, wine glasses and more, decorated with an artistic flair. I am also a faculty member at Anne Arundel Community College, where I teach jewerly design courses.
About the Products
Only the highest quality stringing materials, beads, findings and gemstones are used in my designs. The pieces are made with gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystal and some glass, paired with sterling silver (.925) or gold-filled beads and findings. Some fine silver (.999) is also used in original pendants and earrings using PMC (Precious Metal Clay), a silver clay that is molded and fired in a kiln. Fine silver is also used for a series of fused chain pieces that I have recently added to my line.
The wire-wrapped products are stainless steel, glass or acrylic, wrapped with tarnish free aluminum wire and glass beads.
