Item Description
Edie Shedden, offers one of her outstanding monotypes which previously was in a one-person show at the Oxford Gallery.. For the past 15 years she has spent winters in Mexico in a beautiful art community where she paints and creates monoprints. The colorful monotype was inspired by the brilliance of the landscape and the interesting forms of the architecture. The monotype includes chine colle which consists of collage materials pressed with the print while it is wet, increasing the texture aspect. The piece measures 27 1/4 x 24 inches, is under glass and has a brushed gold frame.
