Item Description
A friend of WXXI offers a seriolithograph, 'Musical Sphere,' by Anatole Krasnyansky. A Russian architect and watercolorist residing in California, Anatole Krasnyansky paints intensely colorful figurative scenes that border on the surreal but never depart from the recognizable. Altogether new in form, they contain echoes of the artist's Eastern heritage, the cubist ideas of Picasso and Braque and the modernity and energy of American culture. The artist's choice of vibrant colors and his bold style combine to create a fabulous image. Bid high and enjoy the fun of discovering the music in his delightful sphere! The image measures 25 ? inches by 24 inches. The overall unframed print measures 28 ? inches by 27 inches. It is signed in the plate. A Certificate of Authenticity and Appraisal by Park West Gallery are included.
