Sheila Brachfeld is an artist and educator who has worked in many Colorado communities and in Banff , Alberta . She now lives and works in Englewood , Colorado . Her mask is her second contribution to the Mask Project. She calls it "Transcendence" and describes it as "Iris blossoms, leaves, and stems with face painting above, covered with translucent and iridescent paint. Serenity is inhaled in spring. Again there is the opportunity to bloom and reach into all that is known and unknown. Life is. Celebrate and acknowledge the process." It is signed by the artist.
