Item Description
John K. Harrell is one of Denver's most widely celebrated artists. His work uses color, light, and form to celebrate the beauty and the poignancy of the seemingly commonplace. He has received numerous awards and is represented by galleries in Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. "I paint what I like. There is no mystical quality and no hidden subtext in what I choose to paint." John’s mask depicts the brightly colored Koi who live in his pond in Denver.
