Artist
Item Description
Colorado Springs artist Carole Reece is a wife and mother of two sons who all encouraged her to open Reece Art Studio. The family's many pets over the years also were her inspiration to focus on animals in her pop art dog faces, including the one featured on her mask, titled "Unconditional Love and Devotion." The family had several therapy dogs so Carole understands the value a dog can have on health. Carole attended Arizona State University where she studied art education but she says she is mostly self-taught. She volunteers for All Breeds Rescue, Dream Power, Pikes Peak Humane Society, Perks for Pups, Bear Creek Dog Park, School District No. 11 in Colorado Springs and the Therapy Dog Association.
