Item Description
Erico Motorsports in Denver collaborated to create their mask, "Mod Squad." The designer was Tai Beldock, marketing director; construction by CEO John Beldock, and painting by Josh Viola, art director. Loyal Erico Motorsports customer Allan Conti welded it. The mask will be auctioned live with a new 2008 Vespa LX50, donated by Erico Motorsports. Proceeds benefit The Denver Hospice. Mods originated in London in the early ‘60s. In a word – they were cool. Besides dressing fashionably, a Mod’s most important accessory was a scooter. Erico Motorsports pays tribute to the scooter pioneers who created the legend that Erico carries on today. The mask’s British Royal Air Force symbol is characteristic of the MOD movement. The mask’s base is a motorcycle sprocket and shock.
