Artist
Item Description
Helene Charland is a Quebec artist who works in all media but enjoys the challenge of watercolor. She holds a certificate of visual art from the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec and has trained internationally in many professional workshops and symposiums. In 2007 she was accepted to the prestigious Societe Canadienne de L'Aquarelle. Her mask, "Lavie en Mouvement," or "Life's Movement," represents the strength of the fragile dragonfly as it moves from flower to flower - representing life's stations and the transitions faced daily by humans in life and beyond.
