Juliette Hemingway is a graphic artist whose style is founded in realism and has evolved to incorporate her love of comic books, cubism, and bold colors. Her mask is dedicated to her father, who is battling cancer. The blue color symbolizes peace, calm, cleanliness, and protection from bad spirits. The yellow symbolizes hope, optimism, and wisdom. The Adinkra symbols on the side are from West Africa . They represent imperishability, endurance, wisdom, knowledge, prudence, fortitude, readiness, bravery, valor, and the supremacy of God.
