Item Description
Roya Khajeaian, a self-taught mosaic artist, is influenced by her heritage of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cultures. She incorporates colors and textures in nature to create her works, explaining that materials in nature are art in themselves. She has exhibited in such prestigious places as The Park in Loveland, Colo. and currently is creating art and working with her father. Her mask, titled "Carnival" is made of seed beads and feathers. "Feathers flame, beads glisten - waking up to the carnival of life," she says.
