Item Description
Dix Morris is the founder of the Greater Castle Rock Art Guild. She celebrated her 70th birthday by donating 21 paintings for the Christian Children's Fund, and with matching funds, raised nearly $30,000 for children in need.
This mask is entitled - "Solving the 'Who Am I' Puzzle". Kids and youth strive to put the pieces together in their lives in this puzzling world as they grow through bewildered to contemplative stages. The Question(?): What do we as adults offer to help guide them? Portraits used were originally painted in pastels and transferred by decal process to the puzzle pieces which were hand painted on the mask.
