Essie Goldberg Perlmutter has always been interested in color, imagery and design. She holds a certification in Interior Design and a B.A. in Art. Her paintings are presently in the permanent collection of the Jewish Community Center, Hebrew Educational Alliance, B.M.H.-B.J. Synagogue, Shalom Park, Kempe Center and the Campus for Jewish Education. Essie says that her work is basically figurative, that she gets her inspiration from happenings she comes upon in every day life. Essie Perlmutter has created masks for The Mask Project each year since its inception.
