Item Description
Denver artist David Michael Skolnik was raised in an art and music family and has painted abstracts and made metal sculptures most of his adult life. He was known in Pennsylvania for his unique airbrush work on custom cars, motorcycles and walls. He re-launched his art career after the death of his only child, Michael, in 2004. His mask, "Stark Silence," is the realization of no sound following Michael's death following surgery. "The silence was deafening."
