Operation Iraqi Children is a nonprofit organization co-founded by actor Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, CSI: NY) and author Laura Hillenbrand in 2004. Sinise and Hillenbrand created OIC to give concerned Americans a way to reach out to war-stricken Iraqi children and support American troops in their efforts to assist them. Since its inception, OIC has delivered over 400,000 school supply kits to children in Iraq. The kits are prepared by American school children and delivered by US Military members. Sibel Ozer, an art therapist and grief counselor with The Denver Hospice, created this mask.
