Item Description
Ann Curry is best known as news anchor on NBC's Today show since 1997 and host of Dateline NBC since 2005, but also is acclaimed for her international reporting of major stories in places such as Baghdad, Rwanda and Darfur. Her mask was created by Colorado artist Ruth Fiege who chose the traditional "noh" mask as a recognized piece of Japanese culture, for its simplicity and beauty. The map of the world represents Curry's travels both as a child of her Japanese mother and career Navy father, as well as a reporter.
