New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson's mask was created by Amanda Scott, a graduate of The Art Institute of Colorado ,who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in interior and architectural design. Her work as a muralist was part of the Santa Fe Art District's "Alley Beautification Project." She is an art teacher at KIPP Sunshine Peak Academy in Denver where she coordinates many community projects displaying her students' artwork. She took her lead from Richardson's presidential campaign button in creating the 2008 presidential candidate's mask.
