Artist
Item Description
Denver native May Trumble is a fulltime artist following a 22-year career in the Air Force. She devotes most of her time to painting, drawing and studying art, inspired by her favorite quote from Vincent Van Gough: "Love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is done well." Her mask, titled, "Quality of Life Mask," represents the key elements we hold onto; both in health and in sickness. The rose symbolizes love and hope and her special words invoke light in the heart and soul. Her mask is in memory of her mother and a tribute to all hospice caregivers.
