Item Description
Influenced by her love of nature, Heidi Yoder is a fanatic gardener, in addition to working as a commercial sculptor for eight years at a bronze foundry, Art Casings of Colorado, in Loveland. Her artwork consists of painting, mosaics and bronze sculptures. Her love of gardening inspired one of her masks, "Leaves & Rain," because of all the vibrant colors and textures found all around her. The subtle changes and beautiful details of nature give me an appreciation for how "magical moments" outside, color my life. Heidi's second mask is called "Bacchus," the god of wine. She enjoys wine tastings and has a beautiful old grapevine in her garden. Watching grapes grow and come to maturity and harvesting them is such a satisfying experience. I have a great deal of respect for the love and patience it takes to craft a good bottle of wine.
