Colorado native Georgianne Rollman is a self-taught quilter whose interest in textiles began in the mid-1980s while living in Turkey with her diplomat husband. She has finished more than 100 quilts over the past 12 years, including four that are hanging in the American Consulate in Germany. Her mask is a take on a 1920s flapper using fabric inspired by the Russian-born art deco painter Erte'.
