Item Description
John Joseph Kempter of Denver served in the South Pacific during World War II, earning a Bronze star and several unit citations. He raised five children and retired from Shell Oil Co. His works have been displayed at Envisage, the Lakewood Arts Council and Senior Arts of Lafayette, Colo. At 88, he is under the care in his home of The Denver Hospice and his loving family. His mask features a young lady with an interest in sports, “Ready for the Games.”
John is donating two wine glasses handpainted in a floral design that he created.
