Item Description
Learn to surf or improve your surfing skills the summer of 2009 at Ohana Surf Camps. Ohana wants to share their passion for surfing and knowledge of the sport with you in 2009. They have assembled a group of experienced watermen and women to serve as instructors who share an enthusiasm for the sport of surfing and love for the ocean. Ohana's model of teaching is based on a “safety first attitude,” so get ready for a summer of fun!
Your child will be met each morning by their own Ohana Surf Camp instructor on the beach between 28th and 29th street on Seawall Blvd in beautiful Galveston. This is an excellent site with good waves, a sandy bottom, and a safe environment for learning to surf. In addition to the professional staff of Ohana Surf Camp, there is a Galveston County Beach Patrol lifeguard on staff.

2009 summer dates will be out soon, over 14 camps are available throughout the summer.
