Item Description
In September 1965, Charles and Sharon Clayton purchased the Motorcycle Journal, which began publishing in Huntington Park, California in January 1964. In the lead article, the Claytons immediately pledged to increase the size of the paper to 12 pages, the circulation to 10,000 and the scope and quality to best serve the interests of all motorcycle enthusiasts. Now after 40 years, Cycle News remains America's weekly motorcycle newspaper. With circulation throughout the United States and the world, Cycle News delivers up-to-the-minute news about National and International competition, personality profiles, new product reviews, and impressions of all new motorcycles. In addition, Cycle News digs into motorcycling's "grass roots" with over 2000 local race reports yearly, and weekly publish the sport's most relied upon events calendar and classified ads.
