"What do you want to be when you grow up?" Remember that question. Didn't we all, at one time or another, answer, "A Fireman!" Not a comic book hero. A REAL HERO.
Your son, daughter, grandkid, niece, or nephew - will have the kids’ thrill of a lifetime. Enjoy the smiles on the face of your youngster when you take him/her to spend a private, just for you, "day" with the Vacaville Firefighters.
Receive a behind the scenes tour of the fire station, help wash the fire truck, learn about fire prevention, meet Smoky the Bear, meet Fire Chief Brian Preciado, get your pictures taken sitting on the fire truck, talk with the firefighters and hear their fire stories, and, best of all, eat lunch at a nearby restaurant with a real Firefighter. Your youngster will also receive a kiddies’ fire helmet.
How could you let your child miss out on this incredible adventure?!
The "day" will begin in the morning and end after lunch. The winner will need to make an appointment for a mutually convenient time with the Vacaville Fire Department. AND, don't forget, in case of a Fire Department Emergency, your adventure may have to be rescheduled.

Special Note:
You will need to contact the Vacaville Fire Department to schedule your kids Firefighter adventures by January 31st, 2009. Your Firefighter for a Day experience will expire on October 31st, 2009, if not used by then.
This experience is designed for ONE CHILD (TWO CHILDREN MAX) who must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Ages 5-7 best. Max age 10 years old.
