Item Description
Made by master potter Masakazu Kusakabe on his recent visit to Solano College, this piece is worthy of a tea ceremony. In Japan, only certain shapes are used in the tea ceremony and one tea bowl can sell for hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars.
Item Special Note
See photo details: "pottery girl"is painted on one side and "floating pottery girl" is on the other. Kusakbe generously donated this teabowl to benefit the Solano College Ceramics Department.
