Item Description
This bowl by master potter Masakazu Kusakabe is very thin, and was created at Solano College this fall. Kusakabe had recently been to China on a kiln building mission, and this style of bowl is influenced by pottery that he saw there.
Item Special Note
It is glazed with a Japanese Shino Glaze, and is 7" in diameter. Kusakabe's brush painting of"pottery girl" appears inside the bowl. Kusakabe donated this bowl to benefit the Solano College ceramics Department.
