More than a decade ago, Wente Vineyards and golfing great Greg Norman joined forces to create The Course at Wente Vineyards, with a vision to create Northern California’s premier destination championship golf course.  The Course, voted Best of the East Bay by Diablo Magazine readers, has become well known among golfers as one of the most beautiful and challenging in Northern California. Located 45 minutes east of San Francisco, The Course’s 18 championship holes play through the vineyards, rolling hills, and natural grasslands of the scenic Livermore Valley at Wente Vineyards. Designed for male and female players of all levels, The Course at Wente Vineyards played host to the Wine Country Championship, the 5th stop on the PGA’s Nationwide Tour for the past three years.

About The Course

The Bay Area’s premier golf course, The Course at Wente Vineyards opened in July 1998. Designed by golfing great Greg Norman, the 18-hole championship course is a picturesque 7,181-yard, par-72, upscale, daily-fee golf course tucked away in the scenic, rural Livermore Valley, 45 minutes east of San Francisco.  With three distinct topographies, native woodlands, mature vineyards and rolling hills of natural grasslands, The Course at Wente Vineyards offers extraordinary visual panoramas and a diversity of play unmatched in the Bay Area. Golf and Grill
Every Monday through Thursday, golfers receive a complimentary lunch or dinner at The Grill one hour prior to twilight.

Breakfast Club
Monday through Thursday, tee off before 8:00 am and enjoy complimentary breakfast at The Grill or on The Course.

Tee time reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance.  All rates include 18 holes, golf cart, divot tool, and practice balls.

Directions

From the North
If you are traveling from the Walnut Creek, Alamo, Danville and San Ramon areas, please take Highway 680 South to 580 East heading towards Stockton.  Exit at Portola Avenue and turn right at the fourth stoplight onto North L Street. 
Proceed down North L Street, which becomes Arroyo Road, for approximately 5 miles to our main gate on your left.
