Item Description
About the Artist: Kyriacos Kyriacou was born in London, England on November 4, 1956. At the young age of 15, he had a diving accident which left his hands and legs paralyzed. During his hospital stay, he began painting with the brush in his mouth as a form of rehabilitation. He then attended a private art school. In 1979, he was granted a scholarship from the Association and only two years after that, he was granted full membership. Kyriacos’ creative work reflects two spheres of life, one being that the Aegean archipelago is a dominant factor in his paintings. The other being that he loves to paint the English countryside with its lakes and rivers, as well as the old villages and towns with their red brick houses. He mostly paints in oils.
All MFPA Prints are 12X15 inches.
