DJ Mirage

While attending FSU for several years, DJ Mirage became one of Tallahassee's most well known DJs. He's always had a strong passion for music and because of this, started by playing a wide variety of music, from Old School to House. He has recently turned to concentrate on spinning Open Format and House. Just as devoted as he is to spinning, DJ Mirage is also an effective promoter. He feels that the only way people will appreciate you is if they are given a reason to. Meeting people and teaching them that mixing is not only about playing music, but also a talent, is essential.

DJ Mirage has held residencies in four different cities at places such as The Grove, Chubby's, Floyd's, The Lower Lounge, Fat Tuesday, CPA, Clydes and Costello's, Sky Nightclub, Club La Vela, Club Eden, Felt, Purdy Lounge, Chispa, and Pangaea. He has also been a mixer for two well-established radio stations. He helped increase the ratings in one period from 4th place to 1st at Hot 104.9 in Panama City Beach and started to mix for a new Hip-Hop station in Tallahassee, Blazin' 102.3. DJ Mirage has opened for many artists in his career. These have included underground Break Beat talents like Baby Anne and Rick West to Trance legends like George Acosta. He has also played with Old School talents like DJ Ballistic Billy, DJ Zog, Felix "Slammin" Sama, & DJ Laz from Power 96FM in Miami.

DJ Mirage has other things in progress besides mixing and promoting. He is currently producing Mash-Ups & Hip-Hop party tracks like those by Crooklyn Clan and Fat Man Scoop. He is also working on several House records. Apart from producing, he is looking to pick up more DJ gigs like fashion shows and charity events to residencies. In Miami, he's played at The Bar, Bed, Space, The District, Felt, Chispa, Purdy Lounge, Gemma, The Gansevoort, & The King Is Dead and is looking to rock the masses everywhere else. Because of his dedication to music and the art, he embraces the love of being a DJ.
