Item Description
These beautiful earrings are from the Satellite Paris Collection.
In 1987, a young ethnologist: Sandrine Dulon and her friend Daniel Ouaki traveled around the world. During this trip they spent much of their time in America and Southern Europe. While touring various countries, she encountered many different people and also began collecting antique jewelry, precious materials such as mother of pearl, Venetian crystal, semi-precious stones and many exceptional fabrics. This passion of collecting objects aroused her curiosity and Sandrine started creating jewelry for her friends. This soon led her to sell some of her pieces to a few Parisian stores.
The first break for Satellite occured in 1988 when, after one of the editors at French ELLE had fallen in love with the Spring and Summer collection, the line made the cover of the January Special Fashion issue !
With two collections a year, the line has been increasingly successful over the years. Sandrine Dulon’s collections are always highly creative, full of recollections from her previous trips, stylish and feminine with a nice French touch.
This year Satellite turned 20.
