Item Description

Cherish your house, family and treasured objects with a $250.00 gift certificate towards a custom acrylic created by Heather Shreve of The Perrine Co.

Heather was born and raised in rural Maryland where she discovered an early interest in drawing and painting. Self-taught and self-motivated, Heather began selling her work at age eleven and was commissioned to do work as early as age fourteen.  Heathers first subjects were animals and nature but expanded as time went on into many, many areas.  In 1983 Heather went on a zoology safari in East Africa where she was able to photograph, and then paint, some of the most beautiful wildlife in the world.
In 1987 Heather became incorporated under The Perrine Co., Inc. and continued to specialize in custom work including house portraits, florals, murals, animal portraits, architectural renderings, and custom holiday card designs.  I the over 30 years of painting Heather has done work for such notables as Sheraton Hotels, CSX, the city of Baltimore, McCormick, Baltimore Choral Arts, LL Bean, The Bank of New York , and others.  Most recently Heather has been designing the holiday card and ornament for the state of Maryland and giving the originals to the Governor and his family.

Ten years ago Heather added a more simple cottage style to her menu which blends well with the many house portrait orders which include family and pets.  This style allows more freedom to capture the "entire story" instead of what just meets the eye.
Compelled by her passion for art , Heather pursues painting every day as well as her holistic mission of getting people involved in painting for wellness.
