Chris Forgy oversees the operations for WZAK 93.1, WENZ 107.9, Praise 1300 WJMO and NewsTalk 1490WERE.

The mission of Radio One, Inc. Cleveland is one of service to our customers;  “our customers” defined by our listeners, our advertisers, our co workers and our community. “This mission is easily explained by a story I like to tell...it’s all about how dolphins swim”… Here at Radio One, Inc. Cleveland we have done a lot of things that many are not aware of:

a.    We were responsible for working in concert with city council specifically Kevin Conwell and Joe Sipperman to rename 25th Ave between St. Clair and superior GERALD LEVERT LANE following this untimely death.

b.  We have also worked with local business in the community to actually pay for the funeral services of some families who tragically had to bury their child and couldn’t afford to do so.

c.  We have also created multiple health fairs in the community that have served thousands, provided over 4,000 assorted health screenings and ultimately saved lives.

Mr. Forgy has been with Radio One – Cleveland for a little over a year. However, in total, his years of experience in radio and the marketing of products and services encompass over 27 years.

His areas of expertise include the identification, recruitment, training and development of talent…specifically sales and management talent. 

He also serves as an unpaid consultant to many of Radio One customers over the years to assist them in developing a complete marketing plan for their business. This consulting includes, strategic planning, brainstorming, market analysis, message development, branding and budgeting.

We like to say at Radio One – Cleveland …”We won’t ask for your business unless we can help improve it”.

The executives will meet with the winning bidders at a time convenient to both parties, on or before December 1, 2009, except in the case of some celebrities which may carry over to the first quarter of 2010.

Once the winning bid has been validated and collected, CAAO will request the winning bidder's bio/resume and reason for wanting to meet the executive and communicate that information to the executive. CAAO will also pass on the necessary contact information for the winning bidder to make their appointment.

If the winning bidder cancels or wishes to change the date/time of the meeting once it has been scheduled, the winning bidder will be responsible for contacting the executive to communicate any changes.

The winning bidder is responsible for all travel expenses to attend this meeting.
