Dennis Lehman is beginning his nineteenth season with the Indians. Lehman attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia and graduated in 1973 with a degree in political science. He came to the Tribe in September of 1988, after eighteen years of baseball management (1970-88) with the Philadelphia Phillies.
While with the Phillies, Dennis was involved in radio and television production, cable and signage ad sales and club promotion in his capacity as director of marketing.
With the Indians, Dennis is responsible for all business aspects of the organization, including marketing, ticket sales, public relations, ballpark operations, merchandise, concessions, human resources, finance, and broadcasting. He is also the liaison with the Gateway Economic Development Corporation of Greater Cleveland, which was responsible for the building of Jacobs Field. Lehman is Past Chairman of the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland; Chairman Emeritus of the Cleveland Chapter of the American Red Cross; and a Board member of the The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio (formerly known as Northeast Conference for Community and Justice), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, and Suburban Temple Kol Ami. He is a graduate of Leadership Cleveland, Class of 1991.
Dennis and his wife, Ginny, reside in Chagrin Falls with their three sons.

The executives will meet with the winning bidders at a time convenient to both parties, on or before December 1, 2009, except in the case of some celebrities which may carry over to the first quarter of 2010.
Once the winning bid has been validated and collected, CAAO will request the winning bidder's bio/resume and reason for wanting to meet the executive and communicate that information to the executive. CAAO will also pass on the necessary contact information for the winning bidder to make their appointment.
If the winning bidder cancels or wishes to change the date/time of the meeting once it has been scheduled, the winning bidder will be responsible for contacting the executive to communicate any changes.
The winning bidder is responsible for all travel expenses to attend this meeting.
