Phalaenopsis, perhaps the most well known type of orchid is hardly "common". It's beauty is entrancing and seductive. The image is included in the larger "The Exposed Series: Flowers on Black", as a part of the subseries by the same name, "White Orchid on Black". 30x30x2 on canvas. Signed Limited Edition Print.
The photography/digital art is printed with the highest quality gicleé process available, on canvas, and coated with a UV Protection. Each piece is printed with archival ink on archival medium, and should maintain its color for over 100 years! On 2" stretcher bars, with the black background (and at times surprise petal-details) wrapping around the sides, the piece is gallery quality, and ready for hanging.
