Item Special Note
A note from the donor: The Pawtucket Armory was the first of the William R. Walker & Son-designed armories in Rhode Island. Walker was from Pawtucket. Eight hundred people were invited to attend its opening, but over 1,000 came. The Westerly Armory was the second Walker armory. Brother armories stick together. We at Westerly Armory Restoration, Inc. are happy to donate these books which have sold very, very well in Rhode Island.
