Item Description
The Dwarf Man of Estepona is a signed monoprint by acclaimed local artist Madolin Maxey. It was part of Ms. Maxey's "Spain and Gibraltar" show at the Providence Art Club in 2002. Beautifully offset in a wooden frame with black edge bleeding into a redish-brown center with gold patterning. Print is 17" w x 21" h. Measures 27" w by 32" h matted and framed.
Item Special Note
Madolin Maxey has been producing and exhibiting art and creating arts projects since 1970. She has a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, as well as an MAE from RISD.
She has had exhibits throughout Rhode Island, and has shown her work in Arizona, Maryland and South Korea. Her public art projects include a mural for Hasbro Children's Hospital, the Tropics Habitat, Binturong Habitat and the Dinosaur Detective Agency installation at Roger Williams Park Zoo. She has also designed theater sets for Brown University, The Wheeler School, Ocean State Light Opera and Perishable Theatre.
