Dr. Robin Richmond is an assistant vice president with Allstate. Allstate is the country’s largest publicly owned property and casualty insurer with more than $30 billion in annual sales.
Dr. Richmond is 31-year Allstate veteran. She specifically has responsibility for Business Operations within the Product Technology division. This department provides the resources and expertise to both the Allstate and Encompass brands for: project management; quality control; finance, sourcing and operations; relationship and ideation services and management. Dr. Richmond also has application delivery responsibilities.
Prior to her leadership role within Product Technology, Dr. Richmond led the Process Solutions and Information Support teams where she was responsible for creating strategies related to application development process improvements. In her many roles within Allstate, Dr. Richmond also was responsible for establishing technology strategies, as well as project management, maintenance, development and implementing technology solutions that provide quality, timely and cost-effective IT services.
Dr. Richmond graduated summa cum laude with her Doctorate of Science in Engineering and Technology from Southern California University. She received her Master of Science in Management and Business from National Louis University and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lincoln University.
Dr. Richmond is a member of the Black Data Processing Association. She is also a member and past president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Evanston IL /Northshore Alumnae chapter.
Active in her community, Dr. Richmond is a facilitator of a youth computer club and raises scholarship funds for youth seeking to pursue higher education goals.
