Join our Green Castle Farm tour with large orchid houses, and enjoy a garden tour at the estate cottage with a spectacular tea while the doctor birds come to your verandah. Hike, snorkel, boat, horseback ride or ATV to very secluded empty beaches and waterfalls and enjoy a roast fish lunch on the campfire. About Strawberry Fields' Green Practices: "We're an 18 acre nature preserve on the coast, and we compost food waste with the horse and goat manure to grow our vegetables. We use no pesticides and only organic insect spray. We have totally redone all our water systems to use catchment and tightly monitored tanks to prevent any waste. We are replacing all electric lines to more efficient ones using all low energy lighting, and researching presently how to transfer to wind and solar energy. We use solar hot water heaters, and recycle our plastics and aluminium cans and glass." - Kim Chase, Owner & Directing Manager
