Item Description
Tombi is a 32 year old African elephant who lives at the Indianapolis Zoo. She is truly an ambassador for her species as she participates in demonstrations for zoo visitors who can get up close to her and learn more about elephants and what they can do to help protect them. She lives with 6 other African elephants and she especially loves taking care of the young ones in the herd. She is a tall elephant with long, beautiful tusks. By holding a paintbrush in her nimble trunk, she has created this unique painting in shades of blue. She used acrylic paint on a 16x20 stretched canvas frame.
