Art
Item Description
Zahara is an African elephant born on August 31, 2006, at the Indianapolis Zoo. She is a busy little elephant, always on the go. She loves to swim in her pool, flop around in the mud wallow and graze in the grass with her mom and her herd mates. We managed to get her to slow down long enough for her to "stamp out" a work of art with her very own foot! With our help, we hope the future will be bright for all elephants. Zahara's footprint was made with acrylic paint on an 11x14 stretched canvas frame.
