Large Bear
Item Description
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
“After graduating from Mass Art’s Painting and Illustration department I lived a rather nomad life style, living and traveling aboard boats and caravans ‘seeing the sights’ before coming ashore to my hometown of East Longmeadow. These last fifteen years I’ve owned and operated the PAINTED SIGN, specializing in custom signage, murals, decorative arts and recently portraits, Man or Beast.
ABOUT THE BEAR:
The inspiration for the Bears’ décor was the life and habitat of the Polar Bear; Art and Culture of the Inuit and Russian people and the challenges they face with global warming. The bears resemble Russian nesting dolls with their souvenir kerchiefs. The baby’s backside is an Inuit bear symbol.” - Jean Zampiceni
