Item Description
This piece is inspired by the flowers that bloom near the beaches in Newport. It was created by hand-dyeing fabrics to show the true colors of the blossoms, then cutting, fusing and stitching them in an original design that captures the vibrancy of these seaside flowers.
The artist uses traditional shibori techniques in concert with modern technology to create pieces that range from quiet and contemplative to vibrant celebrations of color.
Item Special Note
This fiber collage measures 20"H x 16" W.
