Michigan's Bo Schembechler retired after the 1989 season as the fifth winningest coach in Division I-A history, racking up an astonishing 234 victories without one losing season/
From 1969-1989 Bo took his Michigan teams to 17 bowl games. Including 10 Rose Bowls. Bo won 13 Big Ten Titles or championships, and finished with an .838 career conference winning percentage. In his 27 years of coaching Bo had an unbelievable record of (234-65-8) with a record of (194-48-5) at Michigan. He retired as the winningest active coach in the nation
