Item Description
We may not miss riding over its rickety roadway, but there was certainly a charm to the looks of the Old Jamestown Bridge – which Rhode Islanders got to watch being blown up several years after the new bridge took its place!
Here, Warwick artist Vincent Palmiotti captures the look of the original, 1939 structure, with the sun rising over Aquidneck Island. The bridge may be gone, but it’s not forgotten! Vincent paints primarily in oils and acrylics, often focusing on landscapes, Native Americans and wildlife. He is an active participant at the Narragansett Art Festival and the State Employees Art Exhibit.
Item Special Note
